Le Palais de Papes (The Pope's Palace)

Smack in the middle of Avignon

First built in the 1300s, it is the size of four normal French cathedrals

and is the largest gothic palace in Europe.

Here we are, standing in front of the Palace.

Taking the tripod was a great idea.
